Aromaticity

Aromaticity is a fundamental property of planar, unsaturated hydrocarbons known as conjugated cycloalkenes, where the stabilization of the molecule is significantly enhanced due to the delocalization of electrons in the π orbitals. This arrangement fosters a planar molecular structure that distributes electron density evenly throughout the ring, resulting in increased stability and unique chemical properties.
