Product categorization
Description
4-Aminopyrimidine is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound featuring a pyrimidine ring substituted with an amino group (-NH₂) at the 4-position. It is a white to off-white crystalline solid that is sparingly soluble in water but soluble in many organic solvents like ethanol or DMSO.
As a derivative of pyrimidine, it serves as a key intermediate in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and heterocyclic chemistry.
The presence of both an electron-deficient aromatic ring and a nucleophilic amino group makes 4-aminopyrimidine a valuable building block in medicinal chemistry, particularly in the synthesis of kinase inhibitors, antiviral agents, and antifolates. It can also act as a ligand in coordination chemistry.
We have long term experience with this product since the year 2001. We have been manufacturing high-quality 4-Aminopyrimidine, offering it in a wide range of quantities-from milligram-scale for research to multi-kilogram batches for pilot or production use-providing the reliability and flexibility to meet your specific needs.
