Inorganic salts

Inorganic salts are a class of neutral ionic compounds which do not contain carbon-hydrogen bonds. They are formed by neutralization, reaction of inorganic (mineral) acid with appropriate base. Salts exhibit significant solubility in water or other polar solvents where they dissociate into anionic and cationic components.
