Enantiomer

Enantiomers are pairs of molecules that exhibit opposite orientations in 3D space, yet share the same molecular formula and connectivity.
This non-superimposable relationship is like looking at your left and right hands: despite being identical in terms of finger structure, they cannot be perfectly overlapped or superimposed. A pair of theoretical enantiomers is named an enantiomeric pair or simply enantiomers.
