Die LiCl-vermittelte Halogen-\/Mg-Austauschreaktion wurde zur Herstellung funktionalisierter Arylmagnesiumverbindungen aus Aryliodiden oder -bromiden genutzt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurde die Inline-IR-\u00dcberwachung zur Analyse der Umwandlung und m\u00f6glicher Nebenproduktbildung sowie als potenzielles Instrument zur Aufkl\u00e4rung mechanistischer Details eingesetzt.
